Junior QA Required

Fixed Term Contract / day rate agreed depending on experience

At vTime, we develop our own IP for devices at the cutting edge, focusing on the development of virtual reality products. Our latest release, vTime (www.vtime.net), is currently available for Gear VR, Google Cardboard and Oculus Rift, and is connecting people around the world in a completely new and unique way.

We have an incredibly busy year ahead with lots of things planned for vTime and are now looking to grow our internal QA support to help make sure that vTime is the absolute best possible experience on all the formats we are working on, including mobile VR. There are multiple openings for the Junior QA position, all of which report to the QA Lead.

This position is a contractor position for a fixed 6-month term.

Important dates:

  • Interviews commence on September the 12th 
  • Closing deadline is September the 22nd 


Basic requirements:

  • Previous QA experience in software or game development
  • Experience with bug tracking software and writing clear, concise bug reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Pro-active and diligent with excellent attention to detail


Advantageous skills:

  • Experience working embedded within a development team
  • Enthusiasm for VR
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Good working knowledge of scripting tools and game editors, such as Unity


All positions are based at our head offices in the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool (L8).
