About the Role


As part of our analytics team, you will work with a variety of data sets to visualise and communicate app performance, You’ll also aid in the delivery of actionable insights to support day-to-day product planning and development in an agile environment.


  • Deploy live, automated, and interactive reports and dashboards that can be easily interpreted by key stakeholders
  • Write and maintain queries using Sell, and R or Python to transform raw data into product KPIs and extract insights
  • Aid in the development of new capabilities for business intelligence reporting
  • Absorb the load from team members within a growing product portfolio
  • Support research projects and their analyses as needed

About You


You will:

  • Have an aptitude for and interest in solving complex problems
  • Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Have the ability to work independently, with good communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Qualifications, and Certificates

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree in computer science, business, statistics, engineering or a related discipline with an analytics bias, or demonstrable industry experience indicating suitability for the role.

Knowledge and experience

You will have:

  • Knowledge and experience using big data architectures, particularly Amazon Web Services
  • Experience using programming languages including SQL, and R or Python
  • Good numeracy with an aptitude for solving analytical problems
  • Solid experience creating data visualisation using cloud-based software (i.e. Tableau, Server or AWS Quick sight)
  • An understanding of basic statistics and will be comfortable working with them

We’d be impressed if you had:

  • Visualisation experience specifically within RStudio, preferably with R/ggplot/SHINY (or appropriate alternative)
  • Knowledge of machine learning within a cloud-based environment
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Written an R package (not necessarily publicly available)
  • Comfort with Bayesian inference and regression
  • Have worked with Google Analytics (now Firebase) to generate measurement of app traffic
