How to add interests and languages to your vTime profile

You can share a little more about yourself on your vTime profile by adding languages spoken and interests, making it easier to find like-minded friends in vTime.

vTime now has users from around the world, all heading into our sociable network to find friends, old and new, to chat with. Many of you asked us for a way to make it easier to find people who share similar interests, or that speak the same language as you, so our latest update lays the groundwork for a feature that does just that.

Update now for the ability to add interests and spoken languages to your profile. By adding this information, other users will be able to find out more about you before you enter into a session, making getting to know you that little bit easier.

To add languages and interests:

  • Go to the Connections screen and select your own avatar bubble.
  • A new set of options will appear on the left hand side, including 'Spoken Languages', and 'Interests'.
  • Select the cog icon next to the field you wish to add information to.
  • You'll be presented with a scrollable list of options to choose from. Just select the ones that apply to you to add them to your profile.
  • Tap the cross icon in the corner to return to the profile menu, or hit close to close the menu entirely.

You can also modify your information on app.time.net. After logging in, go to your avatar bubble in the top right hand corner, and go to view profile. To edit a field, select edit, and mark any of the options to add them to your profile.

Adding an extra layer of personal information marks the beginning of a new feature in vTime that will make discovering new friends even simpler.
